READ THIS: In this new series I look at the photographs that catch my eye and dissect why they are (in my opinion) great. I appreciate this is subjective, but I have been working in the arts for 20 years and have learned a thing or two about mechanisms of artistic communication.

I hope to share with you a beneath the surface look at why images tend to work better than others.
