In the words of the old song, written and performed by Noel Coward, only ‘Mad Dogs and Englishmen go out in the Midday Sun’.
Well… That’s exactly what I did today!
Armed with my camera gear, I ventured up onto Bodmin Moor in the middle of the day in fierce sunlight. This is generally considered the worst possible conditions for any landscape photographer to go out shooting in. The favoured times for landscape photography is usually the blue hour or golden hour at dawn or dusk.
Of I went, in the blistering heat, to see what I could capture, if anything at all.
