In this week's tutorial I show how I take close up and macro photos outdoors in an amazing forgotten forest location, full of flies, insects and beautiful trees and flowers. It's the first time I've been shooting on my new Canon EOS R5 and 100mm f/2.8 RF macro lens and to be honest I just fancied exploring this lovely spot and seeing what I could find.
I explain some of the tips I use in looking for better compositions, including using foreground leaves for a more immersive shot. And, like always, I wander around talking about how nice it is to be outside and saying things like "Keep your eye out" as though that's supposed to actually help.
