Basic information's:

What is a DAW???

A digital audio workstation (DAW) is an electronic device or application software used for recording, editing and producing audio files. DAWs come in a wide variety of configurations from a single software program on a laptop, to an integrated stand-alone unit, all the way to a highly complex configuration of numerous components controlled by a central computer. Regardless of configuration, modern DAWs have a central interface that allows the user to alter and mix multiple recordings and tracks into a final produced piece.

A Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) is like a virtual studio inside your computer. It's where musicians and audio producers make magic happen! Imagine it as a toolbox filled with instruments, effects, and recording gear, all on your screen. With a DAW, you can record, edit, mix, and master music and other audio projects. It's like having a professional studio right at your fingertips, whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro. So, whether you're laying down tracks for your latest song or tweaking audio for a podcast, a DAW is the go-to tool for making your audio dreams come true! (Source: ChatGPT)

On the market there are a lot of DAWs, names like:

PreSonus Studio One 6.

Steinberg Cubase Pro 12.

Tracktion Waveform Pro 12.

Bitwig Studio 4.

Reaper 6.

Reason Studios Reason 12.

Image Line FL Studio 21.

AVID Pro Tools.

Maybe your are interesting to produce your own music? What's for you? I don´t know! You have to research and to test the programs. I use the Image Line FL Studio 21. I don't know anything about music theory. And this DAW helps a little bit.
